Bringing characters to life...
Live events in shopping centres can create the extra bridge between a child and the brand, character or product. At its heart, it is essential that such activities offer a great experience and a genuine two way interaction for the fans. Messages PR have been running such events for many years covering everything from the Transformers, Mr Blobby, Gladiators, Spice Girls, Mutant Hero Turtles, Spongebob Squarepants and Furbies to Harry Potter, Angry Birds and Peppa Pig.

Character promotions...
Events run to generate attention in Centres and promote merchandise and movies at the destinations. Every year malls will run activities to coincide with Calendar events and special anniversaries. In 2012 Messages PR ran Jubilee activities in 28 UK Malls and Olympic activity in a further 14. In 2013 there are no ‘one-off ‘ celebrations which will liberate more budget for retailer driven activities. Any activity at Christmas hits the public at a time when many key purchase decisions will be made.
